Or does Neighbours look different now it's moved to Channel 5? It's as if it's been filmed on a different format but that can't be the case as it's always been filmed by the same production company so I can only guess that 5 adds a filter to alter the feel of the programmes to make them grittier.
Or something like that.

Hey, Neighbours had a major overhaul when we were in Oz. They changed it to that American style film and changed the sets and a lot of the cast. I think that's what you're seeing - it's nothing to do with Channel 5.
